A “committed to the core” ecological project, this straw bale mountain home on Magnolia road west of Boulder is powered by a 10kW photovoltaic system and features a composting toilet, Boulder County approved experimental grey water system, handmade copper Japanese soaking tub, tadelakt waterproof lime plastered shower, and structural railing from the second floor loft that supports the cantilevered floor structure below.
