fuentesdesign was commisioned to design six homes at once, all custom and based on individual preferences of separate owners, working together to create a new block and end cap to a established neighbhorhood. Each house began with the same basic genetic concept plan to fit the lot, and solar performance. After the design process, each had differentiated into a unique home with respect to the others in real time. Homes are compact for energy efficiency, yet have enough form to shape front porches and more private backyard spaces.
